1. Information We Collect
To provide you with food ordering and delivery services, we collect the following categories of data:

A. Personal Information
Account & Profile Data: Full name, email address ([email protected] integration/verification), and phone number used for account creation, login authentication (OTP), order updates, and customer support.

Delivery Information: Saved delivery addresses provided by you to fulfill orders.

B. Location Information
Foreground Location Data: We collect your precise and approximate location only while the FodyGO app is open and being actively used on your device.

Purpose: This data is used to set your delivery address, display nearby restaurants, calculate delivery fees, and show real-time delivery progress. We do not collect your location in the background when the app is closed or not in use.

C. Financial & Transaction Data
Purchase History: Records of past orders, item details, order amounts, and timestamps.

Payment Processing: Payment transactions are processed securely through Razorpay. FodyGO does not store or process raw credit/debit card details, UPI PINs, or bank credentials on our servers.

D. Optional Media & Camera Access
Photos & Camera: (Optional) Accessed only if you choose to upload a profile picture or submit images along with restaurant/food reviews.

E. Device & Diagnostic Data
Device Identifiers: Device tokens generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send order notifications, status updates, and service alerts.

App Performance & Crash Logs: Technical data collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to identify app crashes, fix technical bugs, and improve overall app stability.

2. Third-Party Services and SDKs
We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to operate and improve our app. These third parties handle your data under their respective privacy policies:

Razorpay: Payment processing and transaction verification.

Google Maps API: Mapping, location searching, and route calculation.

Firebase (Google LLC): Push notifications, crash reporting, and usage performance analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following essential app functions:

Order Processing & Delivery: Connecting your order details and delivery address with partner restaurants and delivery riders.

Communication: Sending real-time push notifications and SMS updates regarding your orders.

Customer Support: Resolving order issues, handling refund requests, and answering inquiries.

App Security & Maintenance: Verifying user identity, preventing fraudulent activities, and repairing app bugs.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only in the following scenarios:

Restaurant & Delivery Partners: Sharing your name, phone number, order items, and address strictly for fulfilling your food orders.

Legal Requirements: If required by law, legal proceedings, or government requests.

5. Account and Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

In-App / Contact Page: You can submit a deletion request via our contact page inside the app.

Email Request: You can send a direct account deletion request to [email protected].

Upon verification of your request, we will permanently remove your personal profile, addresses, and order history from our active databases, except for data required to be retained by law for tax or accounting purposes.

6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures (including HTTPS encryption) to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

7. Children's Privacy
FodyGO is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected], and we will remove the data promptly.
